| Meet Our Author/Editors: Irene Y. Tsai Bilingualism has always been part of Irene's life. Growing up in NYC, she often translated English to Chinese for her mother and sometimes, for other Chinese friends in the community. After writing science articles for children, she found a need for quality Chinese English bilingual books. Frog In The Well and The Blind Men and an Elephant are her first bilingual books. Irene is a member of the the Society of Children's Book Writer's and Illustrators. Read More Joyce Lin Joyce Lin is a tax consultant and works in New York city. She used to work in Taipei, Boston, and Salem. Joyce finished her MBA degree and MST degree in Massachusetts and holds a B.B.A. from Chinese Culture University, Taipei.. Her multi-cultural background and experience in international network are sources for her reading in multi-cultural literature. She is multi-lingual, fluent in Chinese Mandarin, Taiwanese and English. She enjoys reading and hiking in the Mountain. However, she starts to enjoy the ocean because she lived in Boston, Salem (MA), and New York City. Bin-ni Chen Bin-ni graduated with Chinese Literature from Chinese Culture University in Taiwan and a MS in educational technology from New Jersey City University. She taught Chinese class to nineth grade students. She likes to travel and see different parts of the world so she would not be like the blind men discovering an elephant. Yunong Zhou Yunong is a language faculty at the University of Pennsylvania. She got her Masters degree in Teaching Chinese from the University of Iowa, and taught Chinese at UI for two years. Yunong’s Chinese writings were frequently published during her college time. | Meet Our Illustrators: Pattie Caprio Pattie is a Visual Communicator for over 35 years, receiving recognition for her artwork at the early age of seven. Ms. Caprio was inducted into the National Honor Society, Phi Theta Kappa, in 1996 and in recognition of outstanding contribution to the Preservation and Appreciation of the Heritage of the Upper Delaware Valley, she received an award for illustrating and co-published “Falling Feathers” the Pocono Indian Presence, a book written by author Peggy Bancroft in1991. Read More Hui Min Liu Hui Min Liu was educated as a landscape designer at Tunghai University in Taiwan. During her undergraduate study in landscape architecture, she learned how to appreciate the beautiful rhythm in the language of design and the harmony within the pattern of nature. Her passion for art grew and reinforced her to pursue her graduate studies in illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design in the USA, Georgia.
